Privacy policy.

Updated 1 November 2026

Klickshot Limited operates the Snooker Rivals game, website and connected services. This policy explains how information is used when you play as a guest, register an account or use our community features.

Information you provide

Registered accounts provide an email address, username, password and optional country flag or profile picture. Passwords are stored as password hashes, rather than readable passwords. Guests receive an assigned name and player identifier. We store the room messages, support conversations and uploaded pictures you choose to send.

Information from playing

We record online frame results, breaks, shot and gameplay statistics, and visits used to produce player statistics. We use player and device identifiers, connection information, IP addresses and limited security records to keep sessions working, count online players, prevent abuse and investigate errors. We do not require precise device location, your contacts, microphone access or access to your entire photo library.

How information is used

We use this information to run matches and accounts, reconnect players, display profiles and records, deliver messages, improve the game, and maintain safety. Our authorised owner can review saved room chat by room or player to investigate issues and reports. Reports retain the relevant content and identifiers for review by our care team. We do not sell player information.

What other players can see

Your displayed name, flag, avatar, public statistics and leaderboard records are visible to other players. Room messages are visible to participants in that room and can be reviewed through our restricted management tools. The former forums are closed; archived posts and pictures are no longer publicly accessible. Friends and private messaging are closed. Former relationships, requests, private messages and table invitations remain in a restricted archive for account deletion and handling past reports; they are not available through player-facing pages or friend APIs. Support conversations are private to you and our care team. Your email address, password hash and account session credentials are not part of your public profile.

Cookies and device storage

Essential cookies keep registered accounts signed in. Login sessions normally last up to 30 days and game-access tickets are short lived. Device storage remembers guest identity, game preferences and cached game assets. Clearing browser or app storage may remove your guest access or preferences. There is currently no advertising SDK in the game.

Purchases

Where checkout is available, Stripe processes website payments and Google Play processes payments in the Play-distributed Android app. Those providers receive the payment information you submit under their own privacy policies. We do not store your full card number or card security code. We keep the product, price, currency, purchase and refund status, provider transaction references, and an account-linked record of currency or benefits delivered. Google Play purchase verification also uses a purchase token and pseudonymous account and order references. These records let us deliver purchases, prevent duplicate credits and handle refunds or support requests. Test purchases use a separate test environment.

Deleting your game account removes its sign-in access and public profile, but restricted purchase, receipt, refund and currency-delivery records can remain for accounting, payment reconciliation and fraud prevention. These include product, amount, currency, transaction status, provider references and an internal record that the original buyer has been deleted. They are separate from your public profile and do not let anyone reclaim the deleted account's purchases.

Purchase-record retention

Our standard accounting-record period is six years after the end of the company financial year to which a record relates. Records reaching that period are reviewed at least annually and erased or anonymised when no longer required. Limited evidence may be kept longer where a specific legal obligation, an unresolved payment dispute or investigation requires it. Evidence needed to deliver an active purchased benefit can remain while that benefit is being provided. Any longer retention is restricted to its documented purpose and reviewed at least annually. Account deletion ends game access; it does not erase records we still need to meet these obligations. For a request about retained purchase information, contact our care team through Support or email support@snookerrivals.com.

Images, links and other services

Uploaded profile pictures are checked and converted to a standard image format; original upload metadata is discarded. New profile pictures stay private until approved by the game owner. Picture-review decisions, reviewer notes and review history are retained for up to 90 days; replaced or rejected picture bytes are removed when no longer needed. Discord and Buy Me a Coffee links take you to separate services with their own privacy policies. Our hosting provider processes the network requests needed to deliver the game.

Minimum age

Snooker Rivals is for players aged 13 and over. New players enter their date of birth before continuing to guest play or account creation. The date is evaluated for eligibility and is not saved. We retain an eligibility record linked to your player profile and a random access cookie for up to 90 days; an unsuccessful check is remembered in that browser for up to 24 hours. Existing players at the introduction of this check have a legacy access exemption; this is not verified age. If we learn that a player is under 13, access can be restricted. Contact Support for an age-check correction or privacy request.

How long information is kept

Account and gameplay records are kept while your account exists. Former private-message histories are restricted as described above and are removed with account deletion. Content from the closed forums remains in a restricted archive for account deletion and handling past reports; it is not available through public pages or APIs. Room chat is saved for up to 90 days for restricted owner review, then cleared when the management system next checks retention; the in-room message list remains limited. Room chat is removed from the active archive when its author deletes their account or a moderator removes that message. Reports and their review history expire after 90 days and are cleared when the reporting system is next accessed. Open support conversations remain while they need attention; resolved conversations expire after 90 days without an update and are cleared when Support is next accessed. Account deletion removes your support conversations. Block lists and social-access restrictions remain until removed or the account is deleted. Limited security records may be retained where needed to investigate abuse or meet a legal obligation.

Recovery copies and backups

Routine daily database backups expire after 14 days. Additional database snapshots made for deployment, migration or incident recovery, including copies inside recovery archives, normally expire after 30 days. A daily maintenance process checks these periods. Copying an existing snapshot does not start a new retention period; its recorded snapshot date is preserved. A specific copy may be kept longer only for a documented legal requirement or active investigation, with restricted access and a review due within 90 days.

Older copies can still contain information removed from the active game. They are kept outside normal gameplay and are not used to restore a deleted account. Before a backup is restored, deletion requests received since that snapshot must be reapplied to the recovery copy. They are then removed through the applicable backup-expiry process.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion from your profile or through our account deletion page. Deletion removes login access, private account data and your uploaded images. Your removed forum content is replaced with a deletion notice where needed to preserve other people’s replies. Shared frame records may retain an anonymous “Deleted player” entry so an opponent’s result remains valid. You cannot recover the deleted account by signing in again.

Your choices and requests

You can remove your profile picture, manage your flag, report content, block players and delete your account. To remove some data while keeping your account, see your data-deletion choices. For an access, correction or privacy request, contact our care team through Support or email support@snookerrivals.com. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting. Never send us your password.

Policy changes

This game is in alpha. If data practices change, we will update this page and its date. Changes to the community rules require a new acceptance before using social features.
